MAHÜ 10-18 is a construction project of social significance in the heart of Vienna.
My company Responsive Spaces created an interactive, digitally staged model that
enables the building owner to communicate the architectural concept, construction
site information as well as expected offers by means of two video projectors and displays.
The moving model of the building becomes a canvas and grows with the content shown.
This model can be kinetically staged by means of a lifting column and thus serves as an
exciting stage for the interactive communication of all content related to the
construction project. Different heights of the building showcase content that includes the
building's history, future use of the floors, and visual representations of their intended
appearance.
I was involved in the early prototpying process. My primary focus was on developing an
efficient mapping solution for the two projectors, ensuring that the projection content
aligned seamlessly with the model. By creating a adequate projection matrix,
I successfully synchronized the positions of both projectors and the model, guaranteeing
accurate and visually appealing projections. Furthermore, I took charge of implementing
some of the content designs.
